SIGNAL BEYOND — RESEARCH PARTICIPATION CONSENT
Purpose
You are being invited to apply to participate in a controlled scientific study of anomalous information transfer conducted by the Signal Beyond research team. The goal of this study is to evaluate whether anomalous information can be transferred between mediums and sitters under blinded conditions.
What You Are Consenting To
By registering, you agree that:
• The personal information you have provided about yourself and your deceased loved one may be used in this research study.
• Your session transcript and scoring data may be analyzed, retained, and included in academic publications or presentations.
• Your real name and the real name of your deceased loved one will not be published without your consent.
• Audio recordings of your session are used solely for transcription and internal research purposes.
Voluntary Participation & Withdrawal
Your participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time prior to the scoring phase of your session by contacting the research team. Once scoring is complete, anonymized data may no longer be removable from the research record.
No Therapeutic Claim
Signal Beyond makes no claim that this study constitutes therapy, grief counseling, or that communication with deceased individuals occurs. Participation should not be treated as a substitute for professional mental health support.
Data Storage & Privacy
Your data is stored securely and is not sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party outside the Signal Beyond research team. It is retained only for as long as is necessary for research purposes.
